PAYERS PARK

Payers Park – Folkestone
Payers Park lies in the centre of Folkestone’s Creative Quarter and Infrastruct CS Ltd were brought in as civil engineers to assist with structural engineers HRW and lead architects Muf to develop the area.

The existing site formed an area of disused underutilised wasteland on a steeply sloping site, with car parking areas at the top and bottom of the slopes.

The development proposals transformed the area into usable public realm and play space and Infrastruct CS Ltd were key to the proposals by re-aligning the public highway and car parking areas to maximise the site, along with introducing retaining elements throughout to create terraced areas to make the site more accessible and provide areas of play space.
