CONTEMPORARY, NEW-BUILD HOUSE – OXFORD

Infrastruct CS Ltd were commissioned by Khoury Architects for the Civil engineering and SuDS design of a contemporary, new-build 4 bedroom house in the Oxford area.

To ensure the site achieved its strict sustainable requirements and to reduce the surface water flows to the downstream ditch system, the site incorporated an attenuation pond and swale system. Limiting flows offsite, whilst providing an attractive garden feature. The site also included rainwater harvesting, allowing a sustainable, automatic garden irrigation system.

The site was shortlisted for the LABC Building Excellence Awards, celebrating the site’s sustainable credentials.
